A Tuesday Afternoon Dance Party

Jack chose to dance to The frozen soundtrack "Let it Go"

This is the best I could do at capturing his moves. :)

Grace selected Yo Yo Ma "Going to School". She gave us a nice introduction.

And had the whole thing choreographed

Very nicely done, I might add.

Then everybody danced together to Bob Wills "Roly Poly" a favorite. :)

Mom and Ben joined in too.

It was a great till I started cooking supper and somebody got kneed in the eye by somebody else's crazy move. Such is life. ;-)

Portraits

Grace drew my portrait during rest time today.

She drew me as a little girl... With curly hair, bows, flowers and my sister, Mary Allison!

Summer Fun!

Here are a few pictures from this week!

Even Jack got a balance bike!

Tuesday morning playing with sweet friends!

American Girls

When the big kids were with Nana and Paw Paw for a week in Arkansas I was able to organize all of the American Girl things that MA and I collected as kids to give to Grace. I made a box for each doll full of her belongings and had it all out to give to Grace when she arrived home. We had been reading all the books and watching the movies this summer, so you can imagine how excited Grace was to receive this gift! It was a lot of fun to play with again for me as well!

She stayed up till 10:00 playing on night #1!

Benjamin Mitchiner

This kiddo is just growing up on us. He is SO sweet! He is talking to us and squirming around (although not officially crawling yet) and is loving that his big sister is home this summer. He just loves Grace to bits and lights up when she walks in the room! He was sleeping most of the night but is back to waking up once. It may be because he takes a super long afternoon nap. :)

Oh my goodness. He is just the cuddliest, sweetest, happiest little guy!

Arkansas!

We have spent so much time in Arkansas this summer and it has been WONDERFUL! I love love love going to my parents house! Here are a few pictures from 4th of July when Jonathan was able to come with us.

We met up with nana at the Purple Cow in LR. Jonathan stayed the night to pass his series 7 exam with flying colors and the rest of us went on up to Alma a day early.

Rollie pollies are always available for hours of entertainment!

Paw Paw Sr. And Paw Paw Jr.

Jack on the 4th of July

Daddy and Benny.

A good 4th of July feast!

Crystal Bridges fun.

The kids were very very well behaved while we saw a new exhibit, but I think they were glad to run and play once we were finished.

Jonathan and I walked through the whole museum while the kiddos went with Nana and Paw Paw to the splash pad.

And burgers for all at the end of a long day.

Fun fun memories with grandparents!
