Pool Party at Nana's!

I love being at my parents house, and one of the best parts is the amazing deck on the back. We have spent many many hours out there already and we've only been here 24 hours! We filled up the kiddie pool and the kids have had 2 pool parties already! Here are some pics of the good time!

Olivia Revisited

Do you remember this POST

Well, I surely do. Olivia was always one of our favorite books. It was also the only book we ever ruined. I'm pretty sure it had something to do with a leaky juice cup and a week under the passenger seat in the car during the summer. It was not pretty and not salvageable.

Fast forward about a year and a half and ta-da!

Thanks to Uncle Bart, Aunt Angie and Cousin Max we can now read the book any time we want (we have been checking it out from the library) while dressed like Olivia!




Talk about a good birthday gift for a three year old!

Memorial Day in Minden

We got up early Monday and headed to the Minden Nida's house. We stopped by the splash park on our way. It was a BIG HIT with the kids as you can see...

Grace got stuck in the middle of this sprayer and was scared to death.


Eventually she regained her confidence and continued playing...















Water gun fun with the cousins...








And a surprise birthday party... Which was... Well... A little scary for the almost 3 year old.



Eventually she warmed up to the idea, and she kept that green balloon on her wrist till it was bed time :)


(there are no pictures of jack because he was SO fussy the whole time! If you know Jack you know it takes a LOT for him to be fussy. He is usually smiling and totally go with the flow. I think my kids are ready to be home... I think I am in agreement. We are all pretty worn out around here.)
