Christmas Time is Here...

The tree is up. My windows are clean on the inside and outside.

A Cozy, Well Made Bed

This week Grace has started to choose an outfit (I lay out 2 and she picks), get herself dressed, and make her bed all by herself. This morning she decided it looked so cozy that she got back under the covers for a little while longer.


What are some more age appropriate chores for a 4 year old?

Day Planner

Grace drew me this picture to tell me all of the things she wanted to do Wednesday night while Daddy was working. I'll start in the upper left corner and go counter clockwise (cause that's the order she drew in).

1. Go to the park
2. Decorate our house with lights
3. Paint a picture on the easel with just mommy and grace
4. Go to Lowes
5. Get another Christmas tree
6. Go see God

Our evening didn't really live up to her expectations. We did get to have fish sticks and Mac n cheese for dinner, have a friend over to play and paint with watercolors (and jack). And I was happy cause everybody was asleep by 7:30.

Maggie was cast as Genevieve in our morning production of Madeline.

She's a good dog. :)

A Big Day For My Big Girl

Mickey pancake for breakfast. 19 new words read in no time. A Big haircut. Shopping. A visit to daddy's office. Lunch out. Ice cream! Good nap. Dinner and play at Granny's. late to bed.
