Sweaters and Cords

There is nothing more snuggly or sweet than a chubby baby in a sweater and cord overalls. Benny has been getting even more loves lately cause he is just so sweet and cute in his winter clothes. :)

Picnic Day

Grace had a day off for fall break so I took the kids for a picnic at Norton. They ate and played and ran, and Benny crawled after them. Then we walked around the gardens and even walked around inside for a long time!

It was definitely a great day at one of our favorite places.

Swinging!

Benjamin is the 6th grandkid to use this swing and he LOVES it!

We can always count on a happy baby if he can be swinging.

Halloween 2014

Happy Halloween from Grace the butterfly fairy, Ben the cowboy and Jack the Spider-Man!

Grace designed her costume and I did my best to create it. She was very happy with the outcome even though I had to make a few alterations. :)


Our first year here we went south of town to trick-or-treat. Last year we were in Disney world. This year we stayed in our neighborhood and went to the Taylor's house and up and down their street. It was great! And then the kids handed out candy, ate candy and played when we were done while the adults are pulled pork. The Hussers even came in from Houston!

Our neighborhood was such a friendly place to be. Next year we will start a little earlier because once it got dark people started to bus into the neighborhood, and the atmosphere changed a little giving Jack bad dreams for a week!


Halloween is by far my least favorite holiday of the year, and I'm always relieved when it's over! This year was fun though!

A Tuesday Afternoon Dance Party

Grace selected Yo Yo Ma "Going to School". She gave us a nice introduction.


And had the whole thing choreographed

Then everybody danced together to Bob Wills "Roly Poly" a favorite. :)


Mom and Ben joined in too.


It was a great till I started cooking supper and somebody got kneed in the eye by somebody else's crazy move. Such is life. ;-)
