Last weekend Granny and Papa volunteered to keep Jack and Jonathan and I took Grace to her very first Louisiana Tech Football game!

We had to get her a new t-shirt on the way because she has totally outgrown her cheerleader outfit.

We sang the fight song and Alma mater in the car. When we got there we ran into some old friends and their kids and visited until it was really close to kick off time. The kids ran up and down the big hill by the stadium. Here is G rolling down. :)

Jonathan's brother came with David and John, so we got to sit and visit with them which was really nice. Grace adores her big boy cousins.


But it ended up being waaaaay too cold so we left and got some Johnny's Pizza and drove home while listening to the game.


It was really just a great evening all around. While we were walking to the game I reminded Jonathan that there was a time in his life that this event was a major dream! I can't believe how fortunate we are to live so close to Tech and have Grandparents to keep one kid for us while we take another kid to a game and to have season tickets sitting right next to family! Who would have ever guessed that would happen!
